  • Therapist – A mental health professional who provides counseling and therapy to individuals, couples, or families, typically holding a master's degree in a field like clinical psychology, counseling, or social work, which allows them to be licensed to practice therapy in their specific area of expertise; depending on their specialization, they may also have a doctorate degree (PhD or PsyD) in psychology
  • Psychologist – Holds a PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology and primarily provides therapy and psychological assessments.
  • Psychiatrist – A medical doctor (MD or DO) specializing in psychiatry who can diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications for mental health conditions.
  • Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) specializing in psychiatric mental health and is trained to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications.

Yes! After your initial in-person visit, you may be eligible for virtual follow-up appointments. To qualify, you must live in the state of Ohio. You can easily access your telehealth appointments through the patient portal, where you’ll find a direct link to your virtual session.

Insurance coverage varies depending on your provider and plan. Kudose currently accepts select insurance plans for certain providers. Please check with our office for the most up-to-date list of accepted insurance plans or consult your provider to confirm coverage.
